The 31st Annual Santa Barbara Kite Festival 2016 takes place tomorrow, Sunday, April 10, from 11:00am-5pm on the Santa Barbara City College West Campus lawn. If you would like to participate, you may choose to bring your own kite from home, or can make a purchase at the event.
There will be contests, including: “Best of Fest”, “Best Ground Display” (banners, flags display), “Most Unique/Unusual Kite”, “Funniest Kite”, “Youngest & Oldest Kite Flyers”, “Children’s Tail Chase”,”Kite Fighting”, “Most Unflyable Kite”, “Most Beautiful” (handmade & commercial), “Highest Flying”,”Largest & Smallest Kites”, and “Sport Flying”.
