Author Cody Kearsley

Cody Kearsley is known for standout roles in Riverdale (The CW), Daybreak (Netflix), Guilty Party (Paramount+), and Shadow of the Rougarou (APTN). His work as an actor, writer, director, producer, and teacher showcases a deep commitment to impactful storytelling. Cody has produced over a dozen short films, a pilot, and multiple theater productions. He is a producer and production coordinator for the Crazy 8s Film Society and Persephone Pictures. As founder and artistic director of Vancouver’s Vagrant Players Theatre Society, he champions contemporary Canadian theater and emerging talent. In 2023, Cody was selected for the prestigious Whistler Indigenous Filmmaker Fellowship. His debut short film, Breathe, screened internationally and earned multiple awards, including Best First-Time Director at the Brussels Capital Film Festival, Vancouver International ShortFest, and Best Short Film at the Titan Film Festival in Sydney. He is pursuing a BA in Liberal Studies at Antioch University, focusing on Creative Writing and Literature.
